Typography
Two typefaces carry the identity: Selecta for the human voice, ABC Diatype Semi Mono for precise detail.
Typefaces

| Selecta | Regular, Medium, Bold | Titles and body copy. Regular by default; Medium and Bold for selective emphasis. |
| ABC Diatype Semi Mono | Regular, Bold | Metadata, labels, captions, buttons and compact tables. |
Do not substitute another typeface, such as a serif, Arial or Aptos, and do not treat a fallback font as approved.
Licences
Both typefaces are commercial fonts. Install them only under a valid licence. The font files are not distributed with these guidelines or the website source, and must not be embedded in documents that others can extract them from. If you work on the foundation's behalf and need them, ask office@opening.science before buying or installing them.
Scale
The website scale, in rem, with pixel values at a 16 px root:

Let space separate the levels. Proof the smallest text at its delivery size.
